Gumercindo “Gumer” Jimenez was born in the mountains of Puerto Rico to a humble and hard-working family.Since childhood, Gumer has always had a very strong connection with nature and claims that surfing changed his life and has helped him to become a better person by staying focused and healthy. He is a Yoga teacher and meditation Coach , as well as a lover of adrenaline and big waves — he recently spent some time at the infamous, big-wave beach break, Puerto Escondido in Mexico, and is committed to staying active and training hard. Gumer has been teaching surf lessons for almost 10 years now and takes safety seriously, both when he is out surfing and when teaching lessons.
